Two agonizingly long hours later, after the bag of fluids was completely empty and absorbed by my body, Dr. Ross had finally cleared me from the hospital bed in his house. I still felt low on energy and tired after the day I had had, and the amount of magic I had used all day long. But otherwise, I felt pretty fine and pretty… normal to be quite honest. Even though normal wasn’t really the best word to describe how I was feeling deep inside. I had just walked through the Black Blood pack, I had talked to their Alpha who was nothing more but a monster, and somehow, between all the craziness and chaos, I had been able to walk away from it all, pretty much without a scratch. Untouched and unharmed.
