I looked at the phone in my hand. I was still talking to Jason when the device started to vibrate again, telling me I had a second phone call coming in, which was probably the first time in my life that that had ever happened. I held the phone away from my ear, as my screen showed me that it was Bec, the Luna of the Grey pack, that was trying to call me as well.
“Jason, I’ll talk to you later, the Luna is trying to call me.” I spoke into the phone, knowing that Jason was still at the other end of the line. But I was surprised as Jason started to talk again as if he hadn't just heard me. His voice was so hoarse, I honestly wondered if I was talking to his wolf instead of him at that point in time.
