Sami’s P.O.V.
We were formed into pairs, ready to head out into the woods and back toward the Black Blood pack. My adrenaline was pumping, and looking over at my big brother, I smiled widely, happy to know that, for once, he could be a vital part of this operation as well. We could do this, together. Brother and sister, like we would always have done as kids.
The plan was pretty easy to pull off. For one, Indi could not come with us. She was still wearing the Black Blood pack Alpha's mark on her. For all we knew, the Alpha could sense her presence inside the pack, or smell her because he was mated to her after all, call out to her and she would be compelled to go back to him, even if she wouldn’t want to in the first place.
