The meal was good, and the conversation was stilted, but that was okay. We were not ready to say too much. Today was more about Ashley and Helena, so Drew and I tried to stay out of most conversations. I spoke only when I was included or asked a direct question, but that was not often. Few knew who I was, other than a Luna of another pack. They were in for a surprise once I started to go through the books and hospital records. If there is something out of place, I will find it.
Drew and I headed back to our room, and I went out to the balcony, to look over the pack. Everything spoke of richness and quality. I wanted to explore the area, it looked so well-kept and clean, and you felt safe there, which surprised me considering who the former alpha was.
