Drew POV
We all sat in the alpha's office, waiting for the king to start the questioning. Becky did not look nervous to be there when most of her low status would be trembling before the king. I found this interesting and was more interested in what she was saying, and how much of it would be true. I know Matt recognized her as a nurse in the pack, but does he know her loyalties, which could have changed under the leadership of my brother?
The king asked a few questions and Becky answered them calmly. I could see that even Matt was starting to look at her suspiciously. Her arrival, though explained, was still a little odd, and her answer convenient. I am starting to doubt what this girl is saying.
