Helena pushed open my office door, without knocking, making Ashley jump to his feet in a protective stance, facing the door ready to take down the intruder in a way that made me feel good, he just proved himself in that small action, at least now I know someone has my back. It had been hard to be the alpha of a pack you took over in such a terrible way. I still don’t know what Dad did to my son. I guess I will never know unless it gets leaked to me somehow.
