The next morning, Ward’s naked and warm body is curled around me. My head is pillowed on his upper arm, the rest of the limb sprawled out in front of us, his other hand is curled over my abdomen, his legs are hooked with mine, his body almost laying on top of me. Basically, I feel like I’m sharing a bed with a very large dog. I start to giggle and then laugh, the shaking and sound of which wake Ward. He rouses sleepily, leaning over me to see what’s so amusing with a small smile on his face. It doesn’t help him any that when my stomach gurgles, he titles his head to the side like a curious pup. I curl in on myself, holding my ribs while I laugh. “Well good morning to you too I presume.” Ward raises a brow at me, but soon nuzzles his face into my neck, sniffing and kissing it softly
