I'm trying to act like the bigger person. My first thought was to move to my own tent, but the damage is already done, and Ward has explained that now that he can 'smell his offspring within me', he is feeling overprotective. Which quite frankly sounds a little creepy to me, but I stay. It's hard for me as the days wear on until we can head back to the Fortress. I need some space to think, but Ward has this primal urge to protect, which to him means keeping me mostly within sight. Which brings me to where I am now, laying on my back on the bedding in my tunic, staring at the tent canvas, worrying my hands. Ward is once again wrapped around my waist, head cushioned on my stomach. I have never felt more trapped while having literally no current responsibilities or walls to confine me. I toss
