Our love-making is sweet and slow, building to a blended climax that leaves me shaken, and Ward curls himself around me afterward as I fall asleep again. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long. I feel as though I'd hardly fallen asleep again before there is urgent banging at the door.
“My Queen!” Tyrus shouts. Ward growls lightly, but leans over me to give me a soft kiss on the cheek.
“I'll handle this, you sleep.” He murmurs. I hum and close my eyes, listening to the rustle of clothing as Ward dresses, then the sound of the door and Tyrus' excited voice on the other side. Dozing, I don't follow what's being said until the door opens again and Ward's voice drifts through.
