We see Hattie walking into the house and her and Lachlan are instantly wrapped in a tight embrace. He must be so relieved. A pang of jealousy runs through my body. Why can’t my girl be home? I find myself questioning. But no, she can’t be home because it seems she took it upon herself to go and free her friend. So silly… Yet, a part of me feels guilty for not realizing this could be her plan. The things she had been saying should have given me an inkling that this would be what she would try.
