Once I finished my shift we headed back to the pack territory. I was tired in a good way. I loved my job and using my gifts but it was draining. I didn't have to work, the pack made enough money through its other businesses and investments that I didn't have to lift a finger if I didn't want to. But I did not want to be a freeloader and I liked having my own little world that I escaped to every now and then.
I was relieved to get back to the pack territory though, I have felt the tension coming off Theo mounting up all day.
