On the way to Gianni Versace, fashion store I noticed Amber was tensed.  "Babes, relax. Why are you so tensed?" I asked. "Sophie, yesterday there was a dress rehearsal for this event and I was extremely sick. I had to take rest so that I could attend the exhibition thus I had to send my assistant Nicolas. I am tensed now, which models might be wearing my dress? Will the event go well or not?" Amber replied biting her nails. "First of all stop biting your nails. I am sure, the event shall be rocking!" I replied smiling.  "Hope so, fingers crossed" Amber replied closing her eyes. I smiled looking at her. She didn't change in these ten years. She's the same Amber which I knew ten years back. That Amber who used to be nervous before her papers, or any competition and used to bite her nails. We reached Gianni Versace and went inside the fashion store. There was a huge banner that was hanging on the wall and the name of the event was boldly stated, 'Glitz and Glamour- Fashion show'. The atmosphere was filled with loud music. There was almost an eight by fifty-foot long, elevated runway extending through the heart of the room with seats surrounding on either side. In attendance were about two-hundred guests as well as professionals from the fashion industry who were reading over the program schedule, chatting and finding their seats to sit. Amber's assistant Nicolas came and greeted us. "Are the models ready?" Amber asked. "Yes Ma'am, the makeup artists are giving a final touch to the models,"  Nicolas replied. The show was about to begin, when Amber told her assistant, "Make arrangements for my friends to sit in the front row." Abram and I hugged Amber and wished her good luck. She thanked us and went to the backstage while her assistant made arrangements for us to sit in the front row. The lights suddenly got dimmed and the noise among the crowd got faded. It was the time for the show to begin! The anchor, who looked gorgeous in a white stunning gown, took over the stage and announced the entry of the first-party wear collection by Amber. The first model appeared from behind the stage and started the cat-walk on the ramp. She was wearing an off-shoulder beautiful red-colored satin ball gown with lace designs in the bottom. People began to clap and cheer. The fashion show consisted of thirty-five models, both male and female. They all wore tasteful garments in wonderful colors and fabrics.  The second collection was the bridal collection. The show stopper for her collection was Amanda D'Souza, a famous model. Abram and I looked at each other and smiled, thinking was she our school friend Amanda? The applause and hooting from the crowd made it clear about her fame. She wore a beautiful white net bridal gown and a veil. Indeed she was looking beautiful, in that outfit designed by Amber. The collection included a wide range of bridal gowns in light-colored shades like pink, crimson, etc. I loved everything about this collection. The next collection was for teens. The show stopper for this collection was a teenage girl named Imara. She wore a high neck black colored top and a black short midi-length skirt with skinny leggings. The collection included a wide range of teen outfits. The last collection was for men. The show stopper for this collection was Xavier Fonseca and again a smile crept on Abram and my face. He wore a white shirt, black ripped skinny jeans and a black leather jacket over it. The leather jacket had some designs over it. I didn't have much idea about fashion but he was looking smoky hot in that outfit.  There were chattering among the spectators. "Her designs are outstanding", "She's an amazing designer" Last but not the least, it was time for declaring the fashion show over. After which Abram and I, slipped backstage to meet Amber where we found her talking to Amanda and Xavier. We had a group hug. "Ten years, we are meeting after ten damn years," Xavier said smiling brightly. "Guys did you meet Terence?" Amanda asked and we nodded negatively. "Is he a model too?" I asked. "No darling, I am an owner of TG2 Model Management Agency," came a sharp voice. We turned around and saw Terence standing with a smile on his lips. He came and hugged us. "Man you were sitting beside us and we couldn't recognize you?" Abram said smiling. "Of course how would you recognize me? I was so fat during school days and now, I have built my muscles," Terence replied laughing. "Damn ten years, ten fucking years have passed," Xavier said smiling.  "The Trip to Ladakh---ahh---it was an unlucky trip," Terence replied.  I closed my eyes.  "You were cheating upon me, Sophie! Just shut up. I don't want to hear anything. It's over, you stay with that Walton," these words started echoing in my ears.  "Sophie?" Amanda called me out and I came out of my trance.  "Yes," I replied. "Are you okay?" Terence asked and I nodded. "I must say, Amber, your designs are unique and beautiful," Terence said.  "Thank you so much, Terence," Amber replied smiling.  "Single or taken? I am sure girls would be swooning over you," Abram said. "Single. I haven't found a perfect partner yet," Terence replied. "In the course of searching for a perfect partner, he has dated around three hundred girls," Xavier said mischievously, and we all burst out laughing. "Xavier, Amanda, what about you'll?" Amber asked. "We are engaged and shall get married soon," Xavier replied pecking Amanda's lips.  "I am sure you and Abram, are engaged, isn't it Amber?" Amanda inquired. "Not yet, but we'll be getting engaged soon," Amber replied smiling and Abram kissed her knuckles. "Sophie, what about you?" Terence asked. "Single or Taken?" "Single," I replied with a smile. "Oh high-five," Terence said laughing. "At least someone is single, I was ashamed of myself" We all burst out laughing, listening to him.  "Don't tell me, Sophie, you're still waiting for Ryan to come?" Amanda said. "It's nothing like that," I replied fidgeting with my fingers. "Ten years have passed and you're the same. You don't know how to lie babes," Terence stated. "Sophie, Ryan might have moved on in his life," Amanda said. "My heart is not ready to accept this," I replied. "Your heart is a fool, and you're also talking like a foolish person. Look, Sophie, Ryan didn't even try to contact you in these ten years. No letter, nothing," Xavier said.  "Guys lets go to Ladakh, again. Let's go to my place, and we'll discuss the trip," I replied and they all looked at each other. "Sophie, please no---", Amber told sweating profoundly. Her hands started trembling in fear. "Amber, ten years have passed since that unfateful day," Abram replied hugging Amber. "It was just an accident Amber," Xavier added. "Guys, Sophie is right. We'll go to her place and shall plan the trip to Ladakh," Amanda said and they all agreed.
