Everyone’s eyes were on her across the long table the next day for breakfast. She kept her eyes on the table, but she could feel their gaze on her. She’s the one sitting on the head. Alessio and Drig on her right, Julio and Flavio on her left.  Alessio, who usually has a vulgar mouth, was the one who broke the silence. He has a wide grin for Siren as he puts food on her plate, boasting how he was the one who cooked them, and the soup she ate the last day― which Drig helped her with.  Still, she kept her lips shut and accepted the food. Even when it was too much for her, she said nothing, only putting the food she didn’t like and thought was enough back on their plates. Alessio understood the silent message. He shrugged and leaned back in his chair.  He didn’t look disappointed at all. H
