Siren had fallen asleep. When she opened her eyes to the darkness, the men were nowhere in sight. She had nothing around her to tell her what time it was already. But she knew she had been here long for Niccolo and Brian to worry for her again if they somehow called and no one’s picking up the phone. And long enough for Julio to come home with her presence in his place.  Her arms struggle against the restraint. The chair creaked beneath her, but freedom was remaining futile. She was being desperate. Not solely for freedom and her throbbing face and arm, but the thought of meeting Julio again. She knew she had to leave before him. Unless the men had no plan to tell him about her, that would be fine to her. She could think of her freedom tomorrow, perhaps.  But of course, that was impossib
