Siren was physically and mentally drained. Rest in that awful place was not a blessing, but she would consider it as compensation for all the awful things that happened to her from that day and beforehand. Yet, a noise distracted her. It awakened not only her body but also her mind, and just like that, she felt the weight building on her shoulders.
