Sitting on her left was Drig, so she knew without having to look up at him it’s him. She frowned at his hand on hers and stared at it for a few seconds. It causes silence on the table as everyone’s eyes darted to watch the odd gesture. Drig only noticed what he had done when Siren lifted her eyes at him in question. He retrieved his hand back the instant their eyes met. He cleared his throat and jerked his head to the food on the table.  “You want more?” Siren knew at the look on his face he was as surprised as her for what he did. But she decided it’s best to play along with him, anyway. Besides, among everyone, he was the kindest. This must be natural to him, but the look on everyone’s faces made the situation strange.
