It has been hours since Maria dragged Lenny’s bleeding corpse out of the room. Nila is still cuffed to the bed and naked underneath the blanket Maria had placed on her. Maria had not come back to clean up the pool of blood and the stains she left behind when she dragged Lenny’s body out of the room.
