Jaden and Eric have reached Howe’s house to find it locked. It looked deserted and there were no movements inside. The police is yet to arrive and Jaden has half a mind to break into the house immediately without waiting any longer.
“What if Howe is inside? He could be injured or bleeding out, we need to get in now instead of waiting for the police!” he told Eric frantically. The gate was padlocked but it was low enough for him to climb over.
