“Someone will hand over the key card to a room, set up the room for a celebration with cake and champagne before midnight”
It was not signed. She handed it over to the policemen.
“I’ve been getting threatening notes in similar black envelopes from my stalker,” she told them. She turned back to the scared waitress. “What about the note to say it was cancelled?” she asked.
The girl shook her head. “Someone called the counter to pass the message so it was a note written by the reception counter,” she told her. She then hurried off.
