Luci paced the floor of the kitchen while she played with the fingertips of her nails, ignoring the pain that was now beginning to heal despite the fact that it had remained upon her physique for the eyes of her pack to witness. Many of them looked at her with regret for having not found her in time to keep her from such pain while others believed it was a simple stepping stone to allow her to become stronger in her new found fur. But Luci didn’t have an opinion on the trials she endured as she had been focused on Paxton’s life hanging in the balance instead. She then came to question how the blood came onto her hands before recalling how she awoke; with her hands outside of the cage in the very pool his ichor had traveled to and took a breath of relief to know that she was still innocent
