Being in the middle of the night, I heard the pack house door slam shut and my wolf had his ears up immediately.

I had told Mason and Charlotte to stay inside, as I made my way down the hallway. Once I opened the door, Kai and Sienna were already running up the stairs. I couldn’t help but smile when I saw my best friend Kai, he looked like a million bucks. Being the Alpha and coming close to having his first pup, it looked pretty darn good on him. And I couldn’t have been happier for him. We gave each other a hug, it had been four months since we had last seen each other and I couldn’t help but miss the big guy. Another reason for me to be happy to be home, finally.
