Brandon’s eyes opened slowly as he looked up at me, his eyes popped open wide when he saw I was standing behind the desk.
“Char, you shouldn’t be walking around right now.” He growled a bit as he stood up fast and walked towards me.
“I’m sorry, I just wanted another book and you were fast asleep. I didn’t want to wake you.” I spoke softly while I let my hands drop next to my body. Brandon seemed to calm down immediately, as he was standing close to me.
Looks like I’m not the only one who feels off right now.
“You can always wake me up, little mate.” He shrugged as he looked down at me.
“Did you get enough reading time? The doctor ordered me to give you lots of rest, and not to have you walk around the house.” I nodded, I knew there was nothing left for me to find in this place an
