Seeing him with Ryder was giving me goosebumps, he was so gentle and so kind. Perhaps he had changed? Maybe what he was saying was true, perhaps he didn’t want me to end the pregnancy either, but that he thought he was doing the right thing.
My head was a mess right now. When he touched me again, I was in pieces. This mate bond was playing havoc with my heart and with my senses and my logic. He had hurt me, I could not let him off easily. I had to be strong. I walked away from him, down the stairs knowing he will follow.
I know now that there is always going to be a link to him with the fact he knows Ryder is his son. I cannot escape him anymore. But I can still end the mate bond. That is still an option. But I will let him explain.
