Seeing the guy running guard duty being happy to see Maya gave me hope that it might go ok today. Hearing him talk of memories with her made me smile. Kylo was less impressed when he gave her a hug, but I had to let that go, no doubt there would be more of that today. So I was just going to have to deal with the mate bond jealousy issues, and smile and get over it!
It made me laugh he had recognised Maya instantly by her curls through the window, though I can guess why. Though if he had spent years in class looking at them, I can understand why.
