Alpha training was going well, I remained top of the group despite my mind now being preoccupied with the concern of my Dad’s ill health. Beta Austin was calling me each night to update me. Well I say update, there was not much to really update to be fair. The Drs at the pack hospital were still unsure apparently, what was wrong with him, or so they told me, I did wonder if they were actually being truthful with me.
But I had promised my Dad I would do this training and I would do it for him now. I had not been able to speak with my Dad yet, which bothered me, as his weekly calls had been like clockwork to begin with until he had been taken ill. Instead, I had one text from him:
