“Awww Levi, look at him!!” I say with a smile, as we sit in the car, and I look at the scan photos.
Levi looks to me with a small smile “I know beaut’, you seem an awful lot happier now” he says.
“I couldn’t do it, Levi. I thought of it, and then seeing him on the screen I just couldn’t!” I try to explain.
“Hey, you don’t need to explain to me, Maya” he says, reaching for my hand.
“The things you said about being able to do what I dream about even with a baby made me think too. I can make my little one proud of his Mama. Roman might not want him, but I do. I can love him enough on my own for the both of us” I say.
I see a sad smile on Levi’s face “I am proud of you beaut’, I really am. That little one is going to be lucky to call you his Mama”
