They were on their way to the annual year-end party of the RHI. Azalea, Bella, and Ethan decided to use one car. They used Ethan’s. Bella was the guest of Tomas, but she refused his offer to fetch her. It was far from him, she argued. Anyway, Azalea would also attend the event. Therefore, Bella decided to come with her instead.
Azalea invited Ethan since he was her lawyer and a good friend. She wouldn’t want to become a wallflower during the occasion. Dimitri didn’t extend an invitation to her; therefore, she decided to come with Ethan. “Why would you expect an invite? Were you expecting to stand on his side as a wife or a girlfriend? Wake up, Azah!” She scoffed in self-mockery.
It was alright to invite Ethan, Azalea thought. Dimitri wouldn't mind since RHI sends invitations
