CHAPTER 30 AZALEA It was our 7th day in the hospital, and we were transferred to a private two-room suite. Dimitri was in the other room, and I occupied the other one. I longed to see him as soon as they released me from sedation, but the Doctors advised me to rest first.  I was desperate to see my husband. I needed to know how he was coping. I missed him so much. But they wouldn't let me see him, even if I pleaded. I wondered what was going on? I have decided to go against the doctor's advice. I wanted to see him. I wouldn't disturb him. I knew he was more injured than I was. I thought of this as the reason why they didn't want me to see him.
