-Well… There goes the myth of the Virgin Queen – The large, muscled soldier scoffed. Slowly crawling over the monarch's naked body and playfully kissing her lips – You've clearly had some practice before, I can tell.
-And why would you think otherwise? – She puffed out a laugh, eyeing him teasingly – I know what most idiots speculate about me… But you? You've seen me having fun plenty of times!
-Oh yeah, yet being with girls is one thing… - Danthano began saying, his words abruptly silencing when he noticed the cold stare that Elande was giving him.
-But being with a man… That's the only real deal! – The ruler finished the phrase for him, sneering contemptuously as she rolled over and made him recline below the weight of her hips – Is that what you think?
-No, of course not, Your Grace – The warrior rushed to reply – On the contrary, I have the firm conviction that no one is better equipped for pleasuring a lady than another woman herself… I was just under the impression that you preferred them over gents, that's all.
-Oh... Is that so? – The Queen cooed with evident amusement, closing in on his face rapaciously – What could have possibly led you to believe that nonsense, uh?
-Well, people talk… And your aversion towards male s*x is no secret – The bulky youngster responded, raising a brow at her provocatively – So I had hoped that maybe I would get to be your first man, my Queen.
-People should really mind their own business – She wryly smirked, getting off his body and heavily landing on her back, next to him – s*x and gender are two entirely different things. I have no issues with s*x, wherever it comes from… And for the record: You're a boy, Danth, not a man.
He didn't bother replying to her deliberately hurtful comment. After all, he'd seen the pleasure reflected in her eyes, and he knew perfectly well that his performance had been sufficiently good for her to loudly climax while calling his name three times before his own arousal had become too much for him to bear, and she'd pushed him forcefully out of her to finish the deed on her glistening belly.
So, she could mock his youth all she wanted, and she could keep claiming that he was no man for all he cared, as long as her body still betrayed her and stated otherwise itself… Because that was all that mattered in the end.
-All right – The woman sighed, running her fingers through her long, matted hair –Let's quit fooling around and start talking business now. I assume you came here to brief me on our plot's advance, so you may proceed.
With that, Elande silently stood up and covered her curves with a heavy black robe. Then she reached to her side, grabbing a peculiar ceramic device containing a strange blend of dry herbs, which she expertly lit using the flame of a nearby gas lantern.
After giving it a few eager drags, Elande plopped back on the rumpled bedding and slowly expelled a dense chain of smoke out of her mouth, which lingered on the stale air inside the tent, making Danthano´s vision blurry and his throat itchy.
-I think you will be pleased, Your Majesty – He began saying, repressing a coughing fit before stretching out for his armor and starting dressing himself up – So far, we’ve had a much warmer reception than we had originally anticipated.
-See? I told you! – The monarch grinned with smug satisfaction, bringing the small device to her lips once more and giving it another large inhale – Not everyone is as loyal to Yahur as they might seem... We just needed to stir things up a bit and they would follow.
They had been on the road to Mavaer for barely a couple of days, but they had kept themselves quite occupied during the weeks prior to their departure as well, and all that hard work was supposed to start rendering fruit. Because that was precisely what the Queen was rooting for.
Even when she knew that most of the realms they had sent their emissaries to would most likely end up chickening out due to their stupid fears, she was also expecting that the numerous grudges that some of them held against the Yahurian creed would surface to light with enough force to be the spark that they needed to get this fire going.
Elande had spent a long time personally studying and selecting her targets, and she knew that at least a handful of them had suffered irreparable losses under the intrusive Order's fist in the past.
Those self-righteous bullies walked the world holding a white flag in one hand while wielding their blood-coated spears in the other… Savagely butchering whoever stood in their way.
They suffocated the tiniest effort to thrive with a ruthless brutality as they carelessly stomped on other people's needs and demands.
Yahurians didn't mind anyone’s claims, ever. Guided by their absurd creed, they would simply step in the middle of a conflict and smother it regardless of the allegations sustained by either of the involved parties.
They couldn't care less about the reasons behind a fight, whether they were simply calling out for fairness or lawfully motioning for justice, Yahur would crush their intentions equally under their unforgiving thumb.
She knew this firsthand… After all, it had happened to her. She hadn't been at fault at all back then! She had been the true victim, and they hadn't listened! Instead, they had protected the real culprit of the whole ordeal.
She'd tried explaining her situation, but they wouldn't hear a word she said… They'd just called her the invading party and charged against her army without the slightest speck of mercy.
She'd lost one thousand and fifty-one men that day, along with her family's support and the respect of most of their subjects.
It had taken her years to recover from that, emotionally and socially. She had cried bitter tears of shame and struggled for more than two decades to stand on her feet again.
But she stood strong now, and more powerful than ever.
So, once she had gained the full support of plenty of others like her: The outcasts, the overlooked, the forgotten ones… She would make those masked devils pay for all the suffering and the misery that they had brought upon this land throughout the years while defending their pointless beliefs.
-I knew that with a gentle push and some reasonable arguments they would eventually come to their senses, didn't I tell you? – Elande exclaimed victoriously with a prideful tone, her eyes shamelessly admiring the warrior's corpulent body as he finished putting his armor on – So, tell me, my sweet lover boy…. Who can we count on for this plan of ours so far?
The tall, suntanned warrior straightened up slowly before her, a playful smirk extending to his lips as he nodded cheerfully at her, tilting his head respectfully aside.
-Wimhar, Stenthfor and the entirety of the Laheshian realms have agreed to join us just as we had expected – Danthano casually informed her – As long as they can count on us as well, when the time to claim Sand Valley comes.
-And they will – Elande assured him, giving her ceramic trinket another lazy smoke – But first things first. We need to get rid of the Yahurian plague and clear the way down to Lowland. After that, Midland and Upland will be redistributed however our allies see fit.
-Well, it's going to be a tight negotiation then – The soldier sighed worriedly – It's starting to get a little crowded on our side, Your Grace… Two of our messengers came in today, King Pithan and Queen Najanka stand with us as well.
- Great! – The monarch shouted cheerfully, clapping her hands with evident joy – Now we have Muhonos and Vihant in our favor! Let's see what King Savghor and King Onduhl have to say about that.
-I wouldn't be so sure about those two – Danthano sighed, looking at her with clear concern – Let's not forget that they both took the Yahurian´s side during the last war.
-Yes, but I bet they did it for survival reasons only – The woman assured him indifferently – We are giving them enticing enough incentives for them to come around and switch sides.
-Well, I hope you're right, cause if you aren't…
-But I am! So, stop second guessing me! – She cut him off with annoyance – Now tell me, where is that filthy w***e?
-According to our sources, she's already on her way back home – The warrior informed her – She and her family had recently been traveling along with some undesired company, but they have since parted ways, and last time they spotted them, they had just entered the Mideian road.
-Good! – She nodded with conviction, – Spread the word then… Let it be known that I am offering a hefty reward to whoever can catch that pest off guard and away from her precious Yahun´s vigilance. I'm sick of playing these silly games…
Danthano watched her stand up and pace towards the edge of the tent, grabbing the distinct spear she'd been carrying around all this time as she inspected its cold surface with increasingly darkening eyes.
- Just have them deliver her to me and I will put an end to that miserable existence myself.
