Souna´s brain barely registered the slight sting that flared up on the back of her head when she accidentally brushed her scalp against the surface of a rock wall behind her.
Her body already too busy keeping up with Ussiariah´s tireless vigor to care about such a triviality in the very least… Her legs encircling his hips as she pulled him by the shoulders and hungrily unlatched the armor from his muscled body, revealing his fair skin.

-Yeah… It's a shame– Ussi puffed out sadly – But I guess we need to accept that this stopped being a vacation a long while ago.
-Well, you can't say we didn't try – She shrugged off resignedly, then sat up and started lazily getting dressed – Who knows? Maybe next year…
-Maybe – He loudly exhaled, reaching for his armor and rapidly putting it on – But there is a lot of stuff we need to deal with first if we want that to be a possibility at all.
-Yeah…. And we will, Love – Souna replied, scratching her bare neck distractedly– We just need to get back in the game. I know we can fix this!
Ussi noticed her nails furiously scraping the spot, and he seized her hand in mid-motion just before it began tearing it open.
-Stop – He sternly ordered, inspecting the redness that had started to sprout around her collarbone, then searching among his belongings and producing a chain with a green stone pendant, dangling it before her face enticingly –If you manage to break that skin, then you won't be able to wear this again.
Souna´s eyes sparkled at the sight of the familiar stone, her hand eagerly snatching the jewel out of his fingers and smiling broadly a it.
-You fixed it! – She exclaimed with glee, her limbs impulsively darting at her throat – Oh Gods, you have no idea how much I missed this! I know you must think it's silly, but I feel so incomplete without it… It's all I got left from mom.
-I know – Ussi nodded, his eyes softening at her words – That's why I was so pissed when I found out that those brutes had almost ruined it when they ripped it off!
-Oh, but they didn't – Souna retorted, giving him a smug look as she let him take the gem back and fasten it to her nape – I tore it from my own neck as soon as I realized that they overpowered me, so you would know where to start looking… Don't laugh, but it was the best thing I could come up with at the time.
-Well, it worked – He chuckled lightheartedly, pecking her lips with a pleased smirk – It worked like a charm... Literally.
-Yeah, but still, how did you manage to find me so fast, huh? – She asked, running her fingers down his chest and eyeing him intrigued – I saw them, Ussi, and they were fairly good at covering their tracks… It was just too outstandingly quick, even for you.
