Chapter 11: Point Pleasant I waited until I was in West Virginia before I stopped at a discount superstore to buy clothes and anything else I might need. I had deliberately left my clothes behind. Although it was summer, I figured that most of the things I wore in Cairo would either not keep me warm on West Virginia nights, or they make me stand out like a sore thumb in more casual settings.
