Ryder’s POV
I’m so sore after training, it was that challenging, but the perks of being a wolf is that I won’t have to bear the pain too long. In no time I am ready to go for a round two in training but I’ll rather not.
Dave walks over to me after packing up all the equipment “hey, have you found your mate yet?”
I’m taken off guard by the sudden question. I freeze for just a moment but quickly recover hoping that Dave was oblivious to my change in body language.
My mind was in turmoil and Liam was of no help because he was the source of it.
‘This fool rejected his mate' Liam growls within
Thankfully Dave hadn’t mind linked me at that moment.
“Am-Am.. Well…the thing is… I..ammm”
A giggling voice interrupts the conversation…or should I say saved me.
