Dimitri's POV I waited until her breathing to get gradual and heavy before getting out of the bed, making sure she was safely tucked under the duvets so she was warm throughout her slumber. The second my feet touched the ground, she twisted in her sleep, grabbing my hand unconsciously. I didn't understand what she mumbled incoherently in her sleep but I smiled down at her. My heart swelled with a profound love for her at that very moment. She could sense that I was leaving and even in her sleep, she didn't want that. I gently pried her fingers, one by one and took a bolster to wrap her arm around it. She sighed, think it was me and rolled onto her tummy, clutching the bolster tightly in her arm.
