Peter’s POV
I jerked out of the bamboo bed and forced myself to get up. The sun was up and the surrounding was already bright when I went out of the nipa hut they offered us to rest for the night.
I was in a dream, but when I woke up, I couldn’t remember anything. Throughout the night I’ve been expecting to see the Babaylan, but he didn’t show up yet. I want to ask about Mayumi’s parents, which I find so strange they have reincarnated a swell. I went out and saw all the busy people outside. They have their respective chores to do and all of them were on their way, starting their day. They move fast and it’s exceptional to watch how they move.
