We were inside the mansion when a sudden scent hit our nostrils. Werewolf! Near our territory. We already knew there was a deranged one and we just couldn’t stay inside the house in peace. In a blink, we came out in the forest only to find Xavier in a vulnerable situation. That girl was carrying him with great difficulty. Soon I realized the scent I caught was none other than Xavier’s. Rage took over my emotions. It was all her fault. She had undone the witch’s spell.
I snatched my son away from her and suddenly they both collapsed.
“Jordon, do you smell that?” I asked him in horror. That was our nightmare.
“Let’s take them inside first,” he calmly replied.
We put Xavier on his bed and that girl on the chesterfield.
