The bright sunlight made me wake up. It felt as if my skin was burning. A weird headache was giving me a hard time. Last night I remembered falling asleep with Xavier by my side. With closed eyes, my hand searched for him only to find the empty bed. With a groan, I opened my eyes. But the bright sunlight made me close them instantly. Then my ears caught up with that slow buzzing noise. So annoying! I covered my ears with the pillow, but that noise was still there. God! I sat on my bed again, irritated. What noise was that? Suddenly a burst of loud laughter grabbed my ears. Who was laughing this loud in these early hours? I closed my eyes, leaning my head against my knees. Wait! Wasn’t it Lea from the ground floor?
