Third Party’s POV
Hailey and Hazel were standing in the same room where Mia was asleep. The candles were placed around them in a circle. They kept chanting, making a protection spell around the woods and the house. Sam was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall, with closed eyes. Her messy hair was all over her face. Sweat had covered her forehead. She was exhausted. Her mind was troubled. The only thing she kept wishing was Jackson to come back safely.
Sudden anxiety filled her heart, forcing her to open her eyes, followed by a sharp pain in her heart.
“Ah! MOM!” She screamed only to find their chanting had stopped. Their pale faces and wide eyes were enough to tell her they could feel it too.
The pain subsidised while a fear surrounded her heart. What was happening out there
