Falling asleep in his arms seemed sacrilegious. He wasn’t supposed to be comfortable. He wasn’t supposed to be nice to her. He was supposed to only care about his mission and there he was carrying her out. There her mind went untouched, as if he’d already gotten his proof and could just be.
