Renee shook her head. She could only process one deal at a time. Perhaps that’s why he did it to begin with but, hell, he didn’t have to be like this with her. He could have just seen it from her point of view, blocked or not. How hard was it really to follow the dots? Confirming out loud would destroy her. How was that so hard to understand? “Maybe another time,” Renee replied softly, turning her attention back to where Colla danced to see her on the ground instead. “What the hell?” Against better judgment, Renee ran to her classmate, worried. “Colla!” Renee yelled, trying to survey the scene at the same time.
