Koda’s P.O.V.
The rumble of my truck filled the air as we drove down the dark, winding roads of Fairview toward the restaurant and my apartment, which was located right above it. I sat next to Jules, my hands clasped around the steering wheel as I was trying to ignore the pull to just park next to the road and pull her on my lap because my wolf was so f*****g desperate for her right now. So instead, I just glanced at her from the corner of my eye.
“You doing OK?” I asked her, watching her nod and force a small smile on her lips.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just a little nervous, I guess.” She answered me, making me nod as I forced my eyes to stay on the road ahead of us.
