"Oh shoot!" I exclaimed when a human figure blocked my way and I almost threw my drink.
"Are you always jumpy?"
"Marco! Jeez.. I almost spilled this drink on your shirt! You startled me."
"I guess you didn't hear me. I was calling out your name."
"I didn't hear you. I'm sorry. So what's up?"
