“Welcome back, Grey.”
I smile at Jason with a light head nod as he jogs up to me, and we walk together to the back of the school to hang out for a bit.
The dynamic is a little different without Pete, but no one dares to mention it.
“So it’s official now?” Jason asks out of the blue.
My head turns toward him with an arched brow. “What is?”
“You and your mate.”
I can’t even fight the smile tugging at the corners of my lips at the prospect of her finally being mine.
