She stands over Aron, growling, and I want to get between them and stop him so he doesn't go at her. I know what monster is lurking under his skin, but she has no idea, and I can't let him kill her.
"Don't do anything. You came here for your mate and unborn child." I mind link him when he only growls back at me through mind link before he cuts me off.
"So, how is it going to be? I know you want nothing else than to finish me, so why don't you?" I hear her mock him, and I know how thin ice she is at here. I saw her fight before, and she had real skills, but against his monster, she can't do enough.
