I hear footsteps walking down the hallway when I shoot my eyes open and look up in the ceiling, it's all lit up, and looking at the clock it's early morning already.
My brain suddenly registers a familiar scent, and it takes a few seconds before I shoot right up in bed and look around me. It's his scent, but why is it in here?
I can't recognize where it comes from and start to sniff in the air when I realize it's close to my body. Lifting the covers to my nose, I can feel his scent clearly on it and drop the covers right at once.
Running out of bed, I look at the covers and pillow while trying to process how this can be before I'm grabbing one off the pillows and placing it to my nose. Taking a deep breath on it, his scent is strong on it as well, and none of it makes sense
