Lucas' POV:
Lucas has always known his mate was beautiful. He had always known she was gorgeous. But even after knowing her for a while now, he had never noticed how beautiful she looked when she wore his clothes.
His perfect mate slept soundly in his arms, wearing only his shirt to cover herself. His wolf was extremely pleased; the mating process was complete and so was Lucas. He felt happy and loved and extremely lucky for having someone as amazing as Carter in his life.
Her long blonde hair fell in her face, messy from the night before. Her eyelids remained closed as she slept, covering her gorgeous blue eyes, but Lucas could still remember exactly how they looked. Her skin was its usual pale color, her marks and bruises from when she was tortured now gone.
