Carter's POV:
"What about Lily?" Dawn asked sitting next to Carter. She sipped a Pepsi while Joey, who was across from them, shook his head.
"Nah, it's too girly," he looked at Carter. "I mean, that's just my opinion."
Carter shook her head. "It's okay but I don't like it enough." She took a sip of her own drink, looking at the beautiful sunshine.
She, Dawn and Joey were sitting on the pack house's front porch in the mid-morning. Kids were playing in the yard but most of the adults were on patrol, which had been doubled for some reason. Lucas and Jess were both at work, Toby homeschooling Hope in the pack house.
