Hope slept peacefully in Carter's bed, snoring softly. Her blonde hair was now brushed in curls, her face cleaned along with her cuts. A small smile formed on her face as she slept and Carter was reminded of how much she looked like a young sleeping beauty.
“We have to get ready,” Carter's wolf reminded her gently. “Lucas already told us this meeting was important. We are representing the pack as Luna now.”
‘I know.’ Carter silently sighed and went over to her closet, looking at her clothes. After Hope had gotten settled in, Lucas had come up and told Carter a meeting was being held to discuss the war and Hope's arrival. He also told her that since she would become Luna eventually, she would have to be calm and show her strength so no one got worried.
