Carter sucked in a shocked breath and bolted back in surprise as a small brown colored wolf stared at her, only a foot away. The she-wolf's eyes practically glowed as she stared at Carter, her eyes filled with emotion.   Standing as fast as she could, Carter backed away, growling. She was already terrified but after all the fighting rogues she had done in the past few months, she had learned not to show fear.   But the she-wolf didn't growl back or make a move to attack.
