Carter was in a dark forest. Thunder roared above her in the sky, which were covered by thick tree branches and leaves. Rain poured down into her as she spun around, trying to figure out where she was.
The trees were too tall and thick to see anything, the trees casting shadows that looked like all around her.
She wore soaked jeans and a blue shirt but as lightning flashed and another scream of thunder sounded, Carter shifted out of fear. She felt fur sprout and claws and teeth sharpen, her senses becoming sharper. And even though she felt a little better in her wolf form, fear still screamed throughout her mind.
Rain started to pour down even harder and Carter spun around, hearing growls sound behind her. Her heart pounded as she saw glowing red eyes appear from the shadow
