In the attempts she made to appear indifferent to his presence, the more she questioned if he could see beyond this facade. For the time being, Kayla would stare forward at the array of plaques wearing the names of local and retired officers, historic photographs showcasing the history of crime and justice in Saginaw, and flyers of local jobs and events on the rise, that were all set upon the wall across from her.
